Tools Preview - The Class Navigator tool
NotesHound Class Navigator fills a gap in Lotus Notes Designer.
When developing classes using LotusScript, a Notes/Domino developer must have all code for the classes in the (Declarations) section of the design element. Frequently, LotusScript class code gets really long with hundreds and maybe even thousands of lines of code. A developer is forced to scroll through the lines to find the properties and/or methods within, and maybe also use the search tool.
With NotesHound Class Navigator, finding the properties/methods within the classes gets very simple.
When started, NotesHound Class Navigator will scan Lotus Designer to find the classes currently being edited. NotesHound Class Navigator will present all properties and methods within the classes in a simple list. All a developer needs to do to get to that property/method is to click it - and the Designer window will automatically scroll into position.
The tool has a number of settings and presentations options available, all easily accessible through menus.
This screenshot shows an example where the tool has found classes and methods in a Script Library.
